Getting started
BlazeFiit is a coach-branded fitness app. You join through your gym’s invite link, log workouts and daily activity, earn points, and stay connected with your coach. Your gym’s name, colors, and logo appear in the app — not a generic BlazeFiit skin.
What is BlazeFiit?
BlazeFiit is a white-label coaching platform used by gyms and personal trainers. Your coach runs a branded “gym” inside the app where they assign programs, track your progress, run leaderboards and challenges, and message you directly.
You can use BlazeFiit on iPhone, Android, or the web portal in your browser. Your account syncs across devices.
How do I download the app?
Search the App Store or Google Play for your coach’s app name, or use the link your coach sends you. Many gyms use the BlazeFiit app with their branding inside.
- iPhone / iPad: Install from the App Store, then sign in with the email your coach invited.
- Android: Install from Google Play, then sign in with the same email.
- Web: Open your gym’s portal URL (for example
yourgym.blazefiit.com) in Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
If you received an invite link, tap it on your phone — it should open the app or the sign-up page automatically.
Do I need an invite to join?
Yes. BlazeFiit is invite-only. You cannot browse or join a gym on your own. Your coach sends a secure invite link tied to your email address.
When you open the link, create an account (or sign in if you already have one). You’ll land in your coach’s gym automatically. If the link expired or you used a different email, ask your coach to resend the invite.
I already have a BlazeFiit account. Can I join another gym?
Yes. If your coach sends a new invite and you sign in with the same email, you can belong to more than one gym. Switch between gyms from your profile or gym selector, depending on how your coach set things up.
Points, leaderboards, and programs are per gym. Activity in one gym does not carry over to another.
Is BlazeFiit free for clients?
BlazeFiit itself does not charge clients directly. Your coach or gym sets membership pricing — the app is the tool they use to deliver programming, accountability, and challenges. If you have billing questions (monthly fees, challenge entry, etc.), ask your coach directly.
Account & login
How do I sign in?
Use the email address your coach invited. You can sign in with a magic link sent to your inbox, or with a password if you set one during sign-up.
On mobile, open the app and tap Sign in. On web, go to your gym’s portal URL and choose sign in.
I didn’t receive my sign-in email
- Check spam, junk, and promotions folders.
- Make sure you’re using the exact email your coach invited — typos block access.
- Wait a few minutes and request a new link.
- If you use a work email with strict filters, try a personal address and ask your coach to update the invite.
Still stuck? Email support@blazefiit.com with the email you were invited with.
How do I change my email or password?
Open Profile or Settings in the app or portal. You can update your display name, photo, and password there.
To change the email tied to your account, contact your coach or support — invites are email-specific and may need to be reissued.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion at blazefiit.com/delete-account. Deletion removes your profile and personal data from BlazeFiit in line with our privacy policy.
If you’re only leaving one gym but staying with another coach, ask your coach to remove you from their roster instead of deleting your whole account.
Points, levels & badges
Most gyms use a points (XP) system to reward consistency. Your coach configures the rules — the examples below are common defaults, but your gym may differ. Check with your coach or the in-app scoring summary if you’re unsure.
What are points (XP) and how do I earn them?
Points (shown as XP in the app) reward actions that support your fitness goals. Typical sources include:
- Logging a workout — completing a session you tracked in the app.
- Finishing assigned plan workouts — often worth more than a free-form log.
- Daily step ranking — top step counts among gym members for that day (if your coach enabled step scoring).
- Sleep — hitting a sleep target (e.g. 8+ hours) when sleep sync is enabled.
- Measurements & weight — logging body stats; some gyms award points for weight loss or inch changes.
- Meals, goals, and streaks — depending on your coach’s settings.
- Badges and challenges — one-time or seasonal bonuses.
Open your Points or XP history screen to see exactly what you earned and when.
Why did my friend get more points than me for the same thing?
Scoring rules are set by your coach and can change over time (challenge periods, new scoring categories, etc.). Step points are often rank-based (1st place gets the most, 10th gets the least) rather than a flat amount per step.
If something looks wrong, check the date on the ledger entry or ask your coach — they can explain the rules for your current challenge.
What are levels?
Levels are a long-term progression based on total XP you’ve earned. As you accumulate points from workouts, steps, sleep, and other actions, you level up. Levels are a fun milestone — your coach may or may not tie prizes to them.
What are badges?
Badges are achievements for specific milestones (first workout, streaks, challenge completion, etc.). They appear on your profile and may come with bonus XP when your coach enables them.
Badge sets vary by gym. Your coach can create custom badges for their challenges.
Can my coach adjust or remove points?
Yes. Coaches can award bonus points or correct mistakes (duplicate entries, sync glitches, etc.). If you believe a deduction or missing entry is an error, message your coach with the date and activity.
Steps & daily activity
How do steps get into the app?
Steps usually sync automatically from your phone or wearable:
- iPhone: Apple Health (HealthKit) — connect in Profile → Health sync.
- Android: Health Connect — grant BlazeFiit read access to Steps (and Sleep if you track it).
Some gyms also support Google Health / Fit sync on Android. See our detailed Health sync guide for setup steps.
If you don’t use a wearable, your phone’s built-in motion tracking may still count steps once Health permissions are granted.
When do daily steps update?
Steps typically refresh when you open the app, pull to refresh on the home or activity screen, or when a background sync runs. Most gyms use your coach’s local timezone for “today” — so midnight resets align with your gym, not necessarily UTC.
Very new steps (last few minutes) may lag until your watch or Health Connect pushes data to the phone.
When do I get points for my daily step rank?
If your gym awards step leaderboard points, they use your step total for that calendar day — not the moment the day ends.
XP is awarded provisionally around 3 AM the next morning in your gym’s timezone, mid-reconciled around 5 AM, then receives a final reconcile around 10 AM after morning sync from Fitbit, Samsung Health, Apple Health, or Health Connect can settle.
Example: steps on June 30 are ranked for June 30; XP appears in Points history as Daily steps rank · 2026-06-30 on the morning of July 1.
Keep the app installed and health sync enabled overnight. If points still look wrong the next day, your coach can reconcile from the Health leaderboard in the portal — you don’t need to contact BlazeFiit support first.
Why do my steps show zero?
Common causes:
- Health permissions not granted — open Profile → Health sync and reconnect.
- Health Connect not installed or not set up (Android) — install from Google Play and add Samsung Health, Google Fit, or your watch app as a source.
- No step source writing to Health — open Samsung Health / Apple Health and confirm today’s count exists there first.
- Battery saver killing background sync — exclude BlazeFiit and Health Connect from aggressive battery optimization.
- You haven’t opened the app today — open it and pull to refresh.
See the troubleshooting section below and the Health sync guide for platform-specific fixes.
Why are my steps higher than my watch or Samsung Health?
On Android, BlazeFiit reads steps from Health Connect. If multiple apps write steps (watch app, Samsung Health, Google Fit, phone sensor), Health Connect may aggregate or duplicate counts unless sources are configured carefully.
Your coach may enable step reconciliation to deduplicate overlapping sources. If steps still look inflated:
- In Samsung Health → Settings, review which devices sync steps and avoid double-counting phone + watch.
- Ask your coach to check Advanced step reconciliation on your profile (coaches only).
- Disconnect unused health sources you no longer wear.
Why does BlazeFiit show fewer steps than Google Fit (or another app)?
On Android, BlazeFiit shows the total Health Connect reports — not each app’s own private count. Health Connect does not add every app’s steps together. For each slice of the day it keeps one source — whichever app sits highest in your priority list — and ignores the others so you’re never double-counted.
So if Samsung Health ranks above Google Fit, Samsung Health’s number “wins” the day and BlazeFiit matches it, even when the Google Fit app displays a higher figure. Google Fit also tends to estimate more steps than a phone’s built-in pedometer and doesn’t always write its full count into Health Connect.
To choose which app BlazeFiit follows:
- Open Health Connect → Data and access → Activity → Steps → See all entries to see which apps actually wrote steps, and how many.
- Go to Data sources and priority → Steps and drag the app you trust to the top.
- Pull to refresh in BlazeFiit and compare again.
On a Samsung phone, keeping Samsung Health at the top is usually best — it reads the hardware step counter, which is typically the most accurate. See the Health sync guide for screenshots.
How does BlazeFiit avoid double-counting Android steps?
Health Connect can contain step records from several places: your phone, Samsung Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, or another watch app. BlazeFiit compares the timestamps from those sources and avoids counting overlapping intervals twice.
In plain English: if your watch and phone both recorded the same walk, BlazeFiit should count that walk once. If you took a separate walk later, that separate non-overlapping activity can still count.
Can I enter steps manually?
BlazeFiit prioritizes automatic sync for fairness on leaderboards. Manual step entry is not available in most gyms. If your wearable broke or sync fails for several days, message your coach — they may have a process for exceptions during challenges.
Do steps count if I don’t open the app?
Usually yes, as long as health permissions stay granted and your watch/phone continues writing to Apple Health or Health Connect. Opening the app periodically helps trigger a sync. Some Android devices need BlazeFiit excluded from battery restrictions for reliable background updates.
Sleep tracking
How does sleep sync work?
If your coach enabled sleep scoring, BlazeFiit reads sleep sessions from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). You need a compatible source: Apple Watch, many Garmin / Fitbit / Samsung setups, Oura, etc., configured to write sleep into Health.
Grant BlazeFiit read permission for Sleep in addition to Steps. Full setup: Health sync guide.
I see steps but no sleep — why?
- Your wearable doesn’t write sleep to Health / Health Connect (some bands are steps-only).
- Sleep permission not granted to BlazeFiit — re-open Health sync and allow Sleep.
- Watch not worn overnight or sleep not yet processed (check Samsung Health / Apple Health first).
- Your gym may not enable sleep scoring — ask your coach.
Why is BlazeFiit sleep different from Fitbit or Samsung Health?
Fitbit, Samsung Health, Google Fit, and Health Connect may each show slightly different sleep totals for the same night. On Android, BlazeFiit compares overlapping sleep sessions instead of adding them together. If Fitbit says 5.5 hours and Samsung Health says 6.4 hours for the same overnight session, BlazeFiit should choose the best matching session rather than combine them.
Separate non-overlapping sleep blocks, like a later nap, may still be included. If the number looks wrong, confirm the night in your wearable app and ask your coach to check your detected wearable source.
How many hours count for sleep points?
Many gyms award points when you hit 8 or more hours in a night, but the threshold is configurable. Your coach sets the minimum hours and points per qualifying night. Partial nights or naps may not count unless your health source merges them into one session.
Workouts & programs
What’s the difference between a program and a workout?
A program is a multi-week plan your coach assigns (e.g. “8-Week Strength Block”). It contains scheduled workouts across days or weeks.
A workout is a single session — a list of exercises, sets, reps, and rest. You can complete assigned plan workouts or log extra sessions on your own if your coach allows it.
How do I start and finish a workout?
- Open Today or Programs and tap the scheduled workout.
- Tap Start workout (or similar) when you begin.
- Log sets, reps, weight, or time as you go. Rest timers may appear between sets.
- Tap Finish or Complete when done. Partial saves may sync if you leave mid-session.
Your coach may set a minimum duration for a workout to count toward weekly completion or points. Very short accidental taps may not qualify.
What is “Early Bird” or weekly routine completion?
Some gyms reward finishing all assigned workouts before a weekly deadline (e.g. by Thursday or Friday) and bonus points for training early in the week (Monday–Thursday). These rules are optional and coach-configured.
Check your program calendar and points history to see what your gym uses.
Can I log a workout I did outside the app?
If your coach enabled free-form logging, you can record an off-plan session from the workout log. Assigned plan workouts usually score higher. When in doubt, ask your coach whether outdoor runs, classes, or sports should be logged a specific way.
Videos or instructions won’t play
- Check internet connection (Wi‑Fi or cellular).
- Update the app to the latest version from the store.
- Force-quit and reopen the app.
- On Android, disable VPN or ad blockers that block video CDN domains.
If one exercise fails consistently, tell your coach which exercise so they can check the media link.
Leaderboards & challenges
How do leaderboards work?
Leaderboards rank gym members by points or specific metrics (steps, XP this week, challenge score, etc.). Your coach chooses what appears and who is included (whole gym, a batch/class, or challenge participants only).
Rankings usually respect your gym’s timezone for daily and weekly cutoffs. Tie-break rules, if any, are set by your coach.
What is a challenge or batch?
A challenge is a time-bound competition (e.g. 30 days) with scoring rules and sometimes prizes. A batch (or group) is a subset of clients your coach organizes — you might see batch-specific leaderboards or programs.
Entry fees, prizes, and rules are set by your coach, not BlazeFiit. Ask them for start/end dates and how winners are determined.
When do step leaderboard points post?
The Steps tab on the leaderboard shows who walked the most for a period. That view updates as steps sync — it is not the same moment step rank XP is added to your total.
Step rank XP is awarded provisionally around 3 AM gym time for yesterday’s synced totals, mid-reconciled around 5 AM gym time, then receives a final reconcile around 10 AM gym time (usually ~10:10 AM).
In Points history you’ll see Daily steps rank · YYYY-MM-DD. That date is the day you walked, not the morning when XP posted.
Top-10 finishers earn tiered XP (1st gets the most, 10th the least). Exact values are in Profile → How to earn points when your gym enables step rankings.
Why am I not on the leaderboard?
- You’re not enrolled in that challenge or batch.
- The leaderboard filters by date range — no activity yet this period.
- Privacy or roster status — confirm you’re an active member.
- Sync delay — steps or workouts haven’t synced yet today.
Health sync & wearables
Detailed platform guides live at blazefiit.com/health-sync. Below is a quick reference for clients and coaches.
Which devices and apps are supported?
iPhone: Apple Health with data from Apple Watch, iPhone motion, or third-party apps that write to HealthKit.
Android: Health Connect as the hub. Common sources: Samsung Health, Google Fit, Pixel Watch, Garmin Connect, Fitbit (when linked to Health Connect), and many watch companion apps (VeryFit, etc.).
BlazeFiit reads steps and sleep; it does not replace your watch app. Set up the watch first, then connect BlazeFiit.
Fitbit users on iPhone should connect Google Health if Fitbit is not writing data into Apple Health. BlazeFiit cannot read sleep or steps that only exist inside the Fitbit app.
Before connecting Google Health, Fitbit users should confirm their Fitbit account has been moved to a Google Account. If they still use an older Fitbit login, Google Health may not return steps or sleep to BlazeFiit. Google’s migration guide is here.
Samsung Health + Health Connect setup (Android)
- Install or update Health Connect from Google Play.
- Open Samsung Health → Settings → ensure sync to Health Connect is on for Steps (and Sleep if needed).
- Open BlazeFiit → Profile → Health sync → connect Health Connect and allow Steps + Sleep.
- Walk a few minutes, then pull to refresh in BlazeFiit and compare with Samsung Health.
If you also use Google Health sync inside BlazeFiit, only enable one primary path if your coach advises — duplicate pipelines can cause confusion on some devices.
Apple Watch / Apple Health setup (iPhone)
- Wear the watch and confirm steps appear in the Health app.
- BlazeFiit → Profile → Health sync → enable Apple Health for Steps and Sleep.
- If prompted, open Settings → Health → Data Access and allow BlazeFiit.
- Open BlazeFiit and refresh today’s activity.
Google Health sync shows an error (Android)
Google Health (Fit) sync is optional on some gyms. If Sync fails with a steps error but Health Connect shows correct steps, your data may still be fine via Health Connect. Try:
- Disconnect and reconnect Google Health in BlazeFiit.
- If you use Fitbit, make sure your Fitbit account has been moved to Google first. Follow Google’s Fitbit migration guide.
- Ensure Google Play Services is updated.
- Rely on Health Connect if your coach confirms that’s the primary source.
Share a screenshot with your coach or support@blazefiit.com if the error persists and steps are zero everywhere in the app.
Should I enable “Advanced step reconciliation”?
That setting is controlled by your coach on your client profile (not something you toggle yourself). It helps Android clients whose steps are double-counted across multiple Health Connect sources. If your steps match Samsung Health, leave it as your coach set it. If steps are wildly high, ask your coach to review reconciliation and connected sources.
Measurements & progress photos
How do I log weight and measurements?
Open Progress, Measurements, or your profile section (wording varies by gym). Enter weight, circumferences (waist, hips, etc.), and optional notes. Save each entry with the correct date.
Some gyms award points for logging measurements or for weight / inch changes between check-ins. Rules are coach-specific.
How often should I weigh in?
Follow your coach’s schedule (weekly, biweekly, challenge check-in days). Consistent time of day and conditions (morning, before eating) give the fairest trend line.
Can I upload progress photos?
If your coach enabled check-ins, you may upload front/side/back photos privately to your coach. They are not public on the leaderboard. Ask your coach how they use photos in your program.
Messaging your coach
How do I message my coach?
Use the in-app Messages or Chat tab. Your conversation is private between you and your coaching staff. You’ll get push notifications for new messages if notifications are enabled.
For billing, schedule changes, or injuries, messaging in-app keeps everything in one place; your coach may also share email or phone for urgent matters.
I’m not getting push notifications
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → BlazeFiit → Allow Notifications.
- Android: Settings → Apps → BlazeFiit → Notifications on; disable battery restrictions.
- Confirm notification preferences inside the app profile.
- Reinstall only as a last resort after backing up login access.
Troubleshooting
The app is slow or won’t load
- Update to the latest app version.
- Switch between Wi‑Fi and cellular to rule out network blocks.
- Force-quit and reopen; on Android clear cache only if support suggests it.
- Check status with your coach — rare maintenance affects all gyms.
Workout didn’t save or points didn’t appear
Workouts sync when you finish the session and have connectivity. If you lost signal mid-workout, reopen the app on Wi‑Fi and check workout history.
Points may batch-process shortly after the activity. If nothing appears after an hour, note the workout date/time and contact your coach with screenshots.
Wrong gym or branding showing
You may be signed into a different gym account. Open the gym switcher or sign out and use the invite link your coach sent. Custom-branded domains (e.g. coachname.com) should match the gym you joined.

Privacy & your data
What data does BlazeFiit collect?
We store account info (email, name), workout logs, optional health metrics (steps, sleep), messages with your coach, and progress measurements you enter. Health data is used to show you and your coach your activity — not sold to advertisers.
Read the full policy: Privacy Policy.
Who can see my steps and workouts?
Your coach and authorized staff for your gym can see your activity for coaching purposes. Other clients typically see only leaderboard summaries (e.g. step rank or XP), not your full workout details, unless your coach configures otherwise.
Direct messages and check-in photos are private to you and your coach.
How do I disconnect health sync?
In BlazeFiit, open Health sync and disconnect. Also revoke access in Apple Health settings or Health Connect app permissions if you want to fully stop sharing.
Historical data already synced may remain visible to your coach unless you request deletion.
